Medita Communication is enhancing its services in strategic and creative planning. Sami Puutio, previously the Vice President and head of the Turku office at the hybrid agency Nitro, joined Medita at the beginning of December. He will take on the role of Creative Director and Strategist for the agency, which specializes in content marketing and sustainability communications.

“I’ve worked extensively with digital and brand marketing for a wide range of companies. At Medita, we can merge creativity, communication, and marketing with strategic expertise. We share a passion for B2B business and industries that manufacture consumer products,” says Puutio.

In a forward-thinking communications agency, diverse approaches are essential to engage the right audiences.
“Traditional advertising, digital channels, or news media—whose boundaries are increasingly blurring—are no longer enough. Looking at the award-winning work in the industry, it’s clear what creativity in a communications agency can achieve at its best,” Puutio adds.

Medita plans to expand into new industries. The agency, which specializes in the boating, technology, and construction materials sectors, is seeking new business opportunities in growth industries.

Green transition is revolutionizing corporate communications

Since 2010, Medita has been the Finnish partner of the Worldcom Public Relations Group, a global network of independent PR and marketing communications agencies. In recent years, the agency has focused on developing sustainability communication services in Northern Europe, addressing challenges posed by the circular economy, corporate responsibility, and green claims directives, which are reshaping traditional corporate communications—particularly in Europe.

Founded in 1997, Medita Communication has been an active player in industry collaboration for over 20 years. The agency currently employs ten communications and marketing professionals across its Helsinki and Jyväskylä offices.
