Communications audit helps client focus on developing the right areas
Suur-Savon Sähkö is a Finnish energy utility that serves around 100,000 customers. The company purchases, generates and distributes electricity in the region to the east of Lake Päijänne.
Medita audited Suur-Savon Sähkö’s communications at a period when the company was implementing changes. The audit enabled the company to review the situation regarding its communications and marketing, identify key development needs and focus its resources.
The purpose of the audit was to clarify with external communications experts how best to use communications and marketing resources in order to support the company’s strategic goals.
Comprehensive analysis with development proposals
Two communications consultants from Medita together with Suur-Savon Sähkö’s communications and marketing personnel comprehensively analysed the company’s communications and marketing policies and procedures. During the discussion the company’s representatives defined specific targets and priorities for each area of activity.
At the end of the day Medita’s experts analysed the results and summarised them in a report for the client. The audit report identified the main development needs in terms of communications and marketing and offered concrete ideas for addressing these needs.
